Washington, IANS. The US space agency NASA has released some stunning and unprecedented pictures of the universe. These include Galaxies, remnants of Supernovae, Stars, Planetary Nebula ( planetary nebulae ). They have been drawn from the world's most powerful x-ray telescope ' Chandra x-ray observatory '.
THE OBSERVATORY WAS LAUNCHED IN 1999
Let us tell you that this observatory was launched by NASA on July 23, in the year 1999. It was named honor of Indian-American physicist Subramaniam Chandrasekhar, who is known for determining the maximum mass for dwarf stars.
WHEN X-RAY ARE MADE
This observatory helps scientists to capture X-ray images of various high-energy fields in the Universe. In the cosmic world, these X-rays are only formed when a substance is heated to millions of degrees. They are managed by Black holes, neutron stars, and supernova remnants.
DATA TAKEN FROM CHANDRA
Each image released by NASA includes X-ray data taken from Chandra as well as other telescope. The interior space agency wrote o the micro blogging site Sony sharing these beautiful pictures of the cosmic world ' Overview of our universe in a wide variety of celebrities.
