IS PLUTO A PLANET -- NASA RESEARCH | PLUTO INFORMATION | WHY PLUTO IS A DWARF PLANET

Planet Pluto is a dwarf planet in the kuiper belt in the solar system, a ring of bodies beyond the orbit of the planet Neptune. It was the first and largest kuiper belt item to be discovered. The american astronomer Clyde Tombaugh discovered Pluto in the year 1930, of February 18, and was declared in the ninth planet from the sun. The orbital period of  Pluto is 248 year. The radius of this planet is 1,188.3 km

The dwarf planet pluto
AGE OF PLUTO : Pluto, as a member of the solar system, and was formed from the pro-planetary disk around the sun at the same time as the other planets and the sun during the formation and development of the solar system. Thus planet Pluto is about 4.46 to 4.6 billion year old.

COLOR OF PLUTO : Pluto's average apparent visual magnitude is 15.1, which is brightly at 13.65. In the other words, the planet has many colors, including yellow squares of white and light blue, and strips of yellow and subtle orange, with large patches of dark.

WHAT IS PLUTO MADE OF : Pluto is considered mostly made of ice. It is also probably has a small rocky core that may contain some metal. The ice on the surface of Pluto is composed of frozen nitrogen, methane, and carbon dioxide.

DISTANCE BETWEEN PLUTO AND SUN : On an average, Pluto is a distance of 39.5 astronomical units, or Au, from the sun. It is about 40 times more distance from the sun than earth. Due to its elliptical orbit, Pluto is not at the same distance from the sun at all times. Pluto's nearest point to the sun is 29.7 AU.

DOES PLUTO HAS OXYGEN : Air clear : Pluto's eternal atmosphere. although billion of kilometers from the sun, fridge Pluto has earthly air ; an atmosphere composed mostly of nitrogen, the same gas that constitutes 78 percent of the air we breathe. ... Pluto is very far that it takes 248 year to complete or finished a single orbit.

CAN WE LIVE IN PLUTO : "We've never been to [PLUTO] or anything like that'"Planet's scientist Alan stern told Space.com. If you live on Pluto now, it will take about 4.5 hours for your message to reach home.

WHY PLUTO IS NOT A PLANET : The International Astronomical Union changed Pluto's status into dwarf planet, because it did not meet the three criteria defined by the International Astronomical Union to be a full sized planet. Essentially Pluto meets all the criteria except one is " does not cleanse its neighboring area of rest of the planets objects. if you want to know about other planet then click on there name to read full detail.

NASA RESEARCH : In the year 2015, On July 14, The new horizons of spacecraft of NASA, made its landmark flight through  the Pluto system- providing the first closeup image of the Pluto and its moon and collecting other information and data, which captured these mysterious world on the outer fringes of the solar system has changed our understanding of....

The scientists are still researching, analyzing and uncovering data and information  that NASA'S new horizons spacecraft recorded and sent home after the encounter. On flyby's two year anniversary, the team unveiled a set of detailed, high quality global maps of Pluto and its largest moon the CHARON.

LATEST NEWS OF PLUTO : Pluto's famous heart power icy winds on a dwarf planet. Pluto's heart shaped featured , which NASA'S spacecraft of new horizon discovered during Pluto's July 2015 flight, operates thee atmosphere circulation on the dwarf planet,  new study suggest.

TEMPERATURE OF PLUTO : The coolest temperature on Pluto can fall to minus 387 degrees Fahrenheit ( minus 233 degrees Celsius ), and when it is closest to the sun then Pluto can reach temperature of minus 369 degrees Fahrenheit ( minus 223 degrees Celsius ).

HOW LONG IT TAKE TO REACH AT PLUTO : NASA'S New Horizon spacecraft to leave earth, launched in 2006. It crossed Jupiter's orbit the following year and is traveling about one million miles per day, but the spacecraft is still has 9.5 year to reach Pluto and its moons.

CHARON MOON OF PLUTO : Charon moon is also known as Pluto I, and it is the largest of the five known natural satellites of the dwarf planet Pluto. Charon moon has a mean radius of 606 km. Charon is the sixth largest trans-neptunian object after Pluto, Eris, haumea, makemake, and gonggong. The radius of Charon is 606 km, the orbital period id 153 hours,

NIX MOON OF PLUTO : Nix moon is a natural  satellite of dwarf planet Pluto. It has a diameters of 49.8 km across its longest dimension. It was discovered along with Pluto's outermost moon hydra in the year 2005 on June 15, by the Pluto companion search team. The orbital period of this moon is 25 days and it was discovered by Marc Buie.

HYDRA MOON OF PLUTO : Moon hydra has a diameters of approximately 51 km cross its longest dimension. This moon is a natural satellite of Pluto. This moon is the second largest moon of dwarf planet Pluto. It is also discovered along with nix moon in the year 2005 on June 15. It is slightly larger than nix moon. The orbital period of Hydra is 38 ays, The temperature is 23 K, and is discovered by Hal A. Weaver, Marc Buie.

STYX MOON OF PLUTO : Styx moon is a natural small satellite of Pluto. This moon was discovery announced on 11th of July 2012. In July 2015 new horizon spacecraft captured the image of Styx moon along with Pluto and Pluto's other moon. The orbital period of this moon is 20 days and american astronomer mark showlter discovered Styx moon.

KERBEROS MOON OF PLUTO : Kerberos moon is the small natural satellite of Pluto, about 19 km in its longest dimension. Kerberos was the fourth moon of Pluto to be discovered and existence was announced on the year 2011 on July 20. In July 2015 NASA'S new horizons spacecraft captured the image of this moon along with Pluto and Pluto's four moon. The orbital period of this moon is 32 days an american astronomer Mark Showlter discovered this moon
