Planet Pluto is a dwarf planet in the kuiper belt in the solar system, a ring of bodies beyond the orbit of the planet Neptune. It was the first and largest kuiper belt item to be discovered. The american astronomer Clyde Tombaugh discovered Pluto in the year 1930, of February 18, and was declared in the ninth planet from the sun. The orbital period of Pluto is 248 year.
