What if carbon disappeared for 5 second

What if carbon disappeared for 5 second?

Atmosphere will vanished

This is carbon. And of all the chemical elements in the universe, it is one of the most abundant. So what if it all suddenly disappeared for 5 seconds?

How will this small change affect our universe? Could it reverse climate change on Earth? And why will your own body never be the same again?

Everything will collide with each other

Keypoint:

Without carbon, these worlds would be just silicon and oxygen. The planets would crumble and turn back into space dust. Maybe they'll be reassembled into planets again after all the carbon reappears five seconds later. But it will take millions, possibly billions of years.

Carbon is the fourth most abundant element in the universe. And it is part of many things, including you. That's right.

Your body is 18% carbon. That's a huge chunk of you losing, even for 5 seconds.

Carbon is so important because it forms chemical bonds with many different elements.

In your body, carbon forms proteins, fats, sugars and even your DNA, among other elements. So if carbon suddenly disappeared, would you disappear too?

once all the carbon is gone, nothing will be the same again.

You might think that five seconds without carbon wouldn't be enough to wreak havoc in our universe.

But let me tell you, once all the carbon is gone, nothing will be the same again.

Let's go from big to small. First, the universe. The space dust that surrounds stars is made up of elements such as carbon and iron.

This dust collides with each other by the strong winds coming from the stars. And finally, these clusters of dust form into planets.

Many planetary systems in the universe are carbon-rich. This means they may have graphite crusts, carbon monoxide atmospheres, and even oceans of tar.

Without carbon, these worlds would be just silicon and oxygen. The planets would crumble and turn back into space dust.

Maybe they'll be reassembled into planets again after all the carbon reappears five seconds later.

But it will take millions, possibly billions of years. And whatever life is made of on those worlds has to start evolving from zero.

Our planetary system is a little different because it is rich in oxygen. It has twice as much oxygen as carbon.

That's because when our solar system was forming, all the carbon went into deep space. Previously, there was no carbon in the Earth.

The carbon that makes life possible on Earth came from interstellar comets and asteroids.

And if this extraterrestrial carbon disappeared for five seconds, some bad things would happen.

First, the carbon cycle will stop immediately. Under normal conditions, carbon cycles through living things, water and the atmosphere.

It's happening all the time through things like photosynthesis, decomposition, and respiration.

So if we stopped eating, digesting and breathing carbon, of course, we would greatly reduce our carbon emissions.

But in this case, it would be too much. Without any carbon dioxide in our atmosphere, we would lose out on the greenhouse effect, which keeps our planet warm and makes life possible.

Our climate will change radically. The average temperature will drop and everything will freeze.

Solids made of pure carbon, such as diamonds, coal, and graphite, will disappear immediately, because that's all they are.

You will find that washing your clothes, utensils and body will suddenly become even more challenging.

Carbon is a common water-soluble additive that creates the lather you love so much. Without it, most of these household products would mostly just become water.

But you know what? Cleansing your body may be the least of your worries. Carbon is the second most abundant element in your body.

And your primary energy source comes from breaking carbon bonds.

This means that your body will not be able to extract energy from compounds such as glucose.

For that matter, glucose would no longer be present. Water would have formed. Carbon is the backbone of the structure of your DNA.

Without it, your DNA will break apart and won't be able to tell your cells how to grow and function.

About 2 trillion cells in your body divide daily, which is essential for your life.

Remove the carbon from the mixture, and these cells will stop working. Remove the carbon from the mixture, and these cells will stop working.

And it will not only affect your DNA. If the carbon disappeared, it would also affect all the protein, fat and muscle tissue in your body.

Without any carbon in the universe, your body would fall apart. You will be a muddy mess of water and inert compounds.

uh. Bring some wipe You, the Earth and the universe will be destroyed in those five seconds. Maybe it's easier to live with five seconds without gravity.
